Experiential Designer (Concept + Visuals)

About Next/Now

At Next/Now, we push creative boundaries to deliver unforgettable, story-driven experiences that blend technology, design, and emotion. We create visually stunning, interactive experiences for brands, entertainment spaces, innovation hubs, and beyond. Whether it’s a striking brand activation, a bold digital experience, or an interactive environment, our work resonates because we approach every project as an opportunity to push what’s possible.

We are looking for an Experiential Designer with the concept-driven mindset of an art director and the craft of a visual designer. You bring a bold aesthetic, an ability to dream big, and the technical skills to deliver experiences that connect, engage, and inspire.

What You’ll Do

Own the Visual Storytelling: Shape the creative vision for projects through bold, evocative visuals and high-level conceptual thinking.

Push the Boundaries of Design: Marry branding, art direction, and immersive experience design to deliver work that’s unexpected, innovative, and beautifully crafted.

Create Multi-Dimensional Experiences: Design visuals and concepts that seamlessly integrate across mediums—interactive installations, motion graphics, digital experiences, and branded environments.

Drive Concept Development: Take initial client briefs and uncover ways to elevate the idea—adding unexpected storytelling and interactive layers to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Lead with Craft: Develop key visuals, mockups, presentation decks, style frames, and prototypes that sell the experience and maintain a sharp eye for execution across all outputs.

Collaborate with Intention: Partner with strategists, producers, and creative technologists to shape experiences that are as grounded in reality as they are ambitious in design.

Stay Ahead of the Curve: Bring fresh, forward-thinking perspectives by staying immersed in design, branding, AI, and emerging experiential tech.

What We’re Looking For

A Conceptual Powerhouse: Someone with proven experience crafting strong ideas and turning them into tangible, visually compelling experiences.

Exceptional Design Skills: A portfolio showcasing mastery of graphic design, branding systems, art direction, and experience concepting. You have taste, vision, and the ability to refine visuals into something unforgettable.

Multi-Medium Thinking: Comfort designing across formats—from spatial graphics and large-scale visuals to interactive screens, brand moments, and digital touchpoints.

Brand-Forward Approach: You know how to adapt to brand guidelines while identifying opportunities to push boundaries and add fresh ideas.

Technical Proficiency:

Vision + Execution: You don’t just bring ideas to the table—you follow them through with precision, quality, and care.

Confident Communicator: You can present your ideas with clarity and enthusiasm, guiding both internal teams and clients to see your creative vision.

A Drive to Innovate: Curiosity for emerging technologies, experiential trends, and new ways to break creative ground.

Why Next/Now?

Boundary-Pushing Work: You’ll create experiences for bold clients who want to stand out and connect in unforgettable ways.

Creative Freedom: We value big ideas and experimentation—no cookie-cutter briefs here.

Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams of strategists, technologists, producers, and creatives who challenge and inspire one another.

Growth Opportunities: Evolve your skills in an exciting, rapidly growing industry at the forefront of experiential design.

Culture That Cares: A team environment that values creativity, curiosity, and work-life balance.
