We are searching for a Senior Motion / 3D Designer who is equal parts visionary and technician—someone who leads with a powerful design sensibility, commands the motion production pipeline end-to-end, and brings exceptional craft to every frame. You translate briefs into sophisticated visual languages, design boundary-pushing motion systems, and develop production workflows that elevate the entire studio.

This role is central to shaping the future of our experiential motion practice.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Motion & 3D Pipeline

Architect and oversee production workflows for 3D and motion content—from early ideation and styleframes through simulation, rendering, optimization, and delivery for large-format, real-time, and interactive environments.

Set the Visual Standard

Transform conceptual briefs into refined styleframes, visual storytelling systems, and motion directions that establish the creative foundation for each project.

Create Cinematic Motion Systems

Design and animate sophisticated 2D/3D sequences, simulation-driven visuals, particle systems, and typography-in-motion that push both narrative and brand expression.

Own Technical Execution

Build and optimize complex scenes in Cinema 4D, After Effects, and related toolchains, ensuring content meets the demands of unconventional canvases—LED arrays, projection-mapped surfaces, spatial displays, and multi-screen systems.

Support Real-Time + Experiential Pipelines

Create motion-ready assets for real-time engines, interactive installations, and systems like TouchDesigner, Notch, Unreal, or custom playback environments.

Drive Innovation

Explore emerging workflows—AI-enabled production, procedural animation, real-time rendering—and help define the next generation of experiential content pipelines.

Mentor & Elevate the Team

Train junior and mid-level artists, provide constructive critique, and guide the motion team toward stronger creative and technical execution.

Collaborate at a High Level

Work closely with creative directors, technologists, designers, and producers to ensure motion is strategically aligned with experiential intent, technical realities, and client goals.

What We’re Looking For

Master of 3D + Motion Production

Expert-level command of Cinema 4D and After Effects, with a portfolio demonstrating cinematic craft, expressive motion systems, and work designed for large-scale experiential contexts.

Pipeline Architect

Ability to develop, refine, and document workflows for modeling, animation, simulation, lighting, rendering, and delivery—across both traditional and real-time pipelines.

Cinematic Storytelling + Styleframe Expertise

Exceptional taste and the ability to produce polished, emotive styleframes that set the tone and direction for entire experience ecosystems.

Advanced Technical Fluency

• Deep experience with MoGraph, particle systems, simulation tools, lighting, and camera animation.
  
  

• Familiarity with renderers (Redshift, Octane) and optimization for large-format output.
  
  

• Experience preparing content for real-time systems (TouchDesigner, Notch, Unreal, Unity).
  
  

Forward-Thinking Mindset

Experience in emerging workflows—AI-driven production, generative pipelines, procedural systems—and the enthusiasm to help shape how they integrate into studio practice.

Leadership & Mentorship

Experience guiding a motion team, providing technical direction, and elevating the quality of all motion output.

Experiential-First Thinking

A deep understanding of how motion behaves in physical space: scale, rhythm, lighting, viewing distance, and environmental context.
