During NADA in January of 2015, Cars.com commissioned NEXT/NOW for a virtual reality game on the Oculus Rift headset. Cars.com wanted to focus on the digital revolution and share the idea that if dealers connected with customers via their mobile devices, more customers would come into their dealerships to check out their car selection.

Users put on the headset and were instantly taken to 4 different virtual locations. By focusing on customers within the game, dealers connected with those customers and earned points. The more people they connected with, the more points they earned throughout the game, and the more customers ended up in their dealership at the end of the game. A leaderboard collected the high scores, and the dealer with the highest score each day won an iPhone 6.
