During four trade shows, HMS, a healthcare company, wanted to speak to their audience about what HMS can do for them. To do this, NEXT/NOW created an Oculus Rift experience where the user was a superhero, flying through a city scape. The users wore the Oculus goggles and were then transported to the city, joined by other super heroes. The user was to destroy obstacles and pick up points as they flew around. The more points the user got, the higher they were on the leader board for prizes at the end of the trade show. Ultimately, the user became part of the HMS Integrity League in this fun and unexpected way to give an audience your message.
This activation won the International Association of Business Communicators 2016 Gold Quill Merit Award for Best Audio and Visual Experience, in the Communication Management Division. Read more about this award and other winners here.
