Digital Sponsorship Activation
Official Health Provider for the NBA, Kaiser Permanente, wanted to leverage their relationship with the NBA along with their imaging rights with All-Star Steph Curry, to present a strong digital sponsorship activation by creating interactive exhibit at the NBA All Star Weekend Crossover event at the Majestic Downtown in Los Angeles. NEXT/NOW and agency partner Octagon developed a gesture controlled, 98” original three-point shootout, where fans could step into the shoes of the famed point guard and compete for top score. When the fans leaped, Steph leaped; when they shot, Steph shot.
The activation ended with a personalized video shareable of each person’s round that was emailed to him or her with convenient social share links.
Nearly 1000 fans shared 100’s of videos via social networks.
