Next/Now recently partnered with OTJ Architects on the development of a new office in Washington, D.C. Responsible for the design and installation of an architectural centerpiece, we imagined a work of art that would immediately grab the attention of visitors. The 52-foot digital serpentine wall stretches the full length of the hallway, immersing guests in stunning custom content and setting a reflexive tone to the environment.
Infused Process
Meeting with OTJ and their partners early in the draft process, Next/Now ensured the space met the installation requirements including checks on dimensions, placement, surround, power, data and AV connectivity. This allowed for seamless integration during construction and enhanced the overall quality and craft of the project.
An end-to-end experience
Leading content discovery directly with the end-client, we developed visuals that pushed beyond aesthetics, building a historical narrative rich with company data. These immersive visuals, in tandem with the physical build, work together to carefully craft an environment that moves as one.
Rapport through brand immersion
Immersing guests in the visual language of the brand, building ambiance, and supporting client interactions, the final installation serves to enhance the connections made by employees in the space. With built-in content management capabilities, the opportunity to make visuals interchangeable over time keeps conversations fresh and sustains a ‘wow’ factor beyond the first visit.
The Result
The new digital serpentine wall is a flagship to this office’s experience, elevating the surrounding environment by OTJ Architects. With high-level craftsmanship and an intentional end-to-end process, Next/Now delivered a product that will serve as a pride point for the resident business and all of their partners for years to come.
